Meet the Founder & Instructor
Meet Nathalie Smith
20+ Years of Dance Education Experience. A Passion for Inspiring Young Dancers.
Originally from Sydney, Australia, Nathalie Smith brings more than two decades of dance teaching experience and a lifelong passion for movement to Prime Dance Maui. With university qualifications in Dance Studies and Secondary Education, she pairs a strong educational background with a supportive, fundamentals-focused approach to teaching.
Alongside founding Prime Dance Maui, Nathalie serves as Director of Performing Arts at Maui Preparatory Academy. Her philosophy is simple: build strong foundations, encourage personal growth, and create an environment where every dancer feels confident, supported, and inspired to shine.

Juniors JFH
Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop choreography built on flexibility, technique, and conditioning.
Intermediate JFH
Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop choreography built on flexibility, technique, and conditioning.
Minis
A fun, encouraging first step into dance, building coordination, musicality, movement fundamentals and confidence.
Intermediate Contemporary
Technique, expression and movement. Dancers build balance, body control, musicality and creativity through contemporary choreography.
Classes are held in The Chin Studio at The Bozich Center for Athletics and Performing Arts, Napili. Ballet with Miss Jen starts January 2027.
